Highly detailed 2001 Corvette C5-R 7.0 #63 - Le Mans diecast model car 1:18 scale by AUTOart. The Corvette C5-R won the GTS class in the 69th Le Mans 24 hour endurance race held in France in 2001. This factory race car is based on the Corvette’s hydroformed frame rails. The body is carbon fiber composite. NACA duct to the rear for the transmission and differential oil coolers. The engine block has a Kinsler racing fuel-injection system, with elaborate cross-arm air horns between the engine and the hood. #63, driven by R. Fellows/J. O’Connell/S. Pruett, completed 278 laps to finish in 8th position overall and 1st in the production=based GTS class. #64, driven by K. Collins/A. Pilgrim/F. Freon, completed 271 laps to finish 14th overall and second in the GTS class. 2001 Corvette C5-R 7.0 #63 - Le Mans diecast model car 1:18 scale by AUTOart.
